Description

The Cisco Catalyst WS-C3750V2-48PS-S delivers 48 PoE enabled 10/100 ports and 4 SFP Gigabit uplinks. It’s part of Cisco’s well established 3750 v2 series, built for access layer deployments in enterprise, retail and branch office settings.

Cisco Catalyst 3750V2 48 Port Switch Overview

A 32 Gbps switching backplane handles traffic at wire speed. The PoE budget reaches 370W in total. You get full 15.4W per port across 24 ports, or 7.7W per port when powering all 48 ports together. This covers VoIP handsets, wireless access points and IP cameras without extra power injectors.

The switch runs Cisco’s IP Base software feature set. This adds Layer 3 multilayer switching and OSPF routing. It also supports IPv6 and StackWise stacking, so you can combine multiple units into one managed system.

Security features are strong. The switch includes access control lists, DHCP snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection, port level security and 802.1X authentication. As a result, it suits environments with strict network access policies.

This unit also works with the Cisco RPS 2300 redundant power system. For teams that need power resilience, this adds an extra layer of protection. EnergyWise support is included too, so you can monitor and manage power consumption across your network.

Condition: Grade 3. This is a used switch. It has been tested and confirmed in full working order. Some minor cosmetic wear is present from prior service use. The unit is functionally complete and ready to deploy.

Please note that the Cisco Catalyst 3750 V2 series reached End of Sale and End of Life status in 2011. Therefore, this unit is sold as a refurbished, end of life model. It is not covered by Cisco’s active support or software update programme. Even so, it remains a solid choice for budget conscious access layer deployments, lab environments, and businesses standardising on a known, stable platform.
